The Zhejiang Fastener Industry Association has released the group standard "Quantification Methods and Requirements for Carbon Footprint of Greenhouse Gas Products - Fasteners"

On September 2, 2025, the Zhejiang Fastener Industry Association successfully released the group standard "Quantification Methods and Requirements for Carbon Footprint of Greenhouse Gas Products - Fasteners" on the National Group Standard Information Platform. This standard was led by Zhejiang Guojian Testing Technology Co., Ltd. and jointly formulated by 20 enterprises, institutions and 31 industry insiders. The project was initiated on June 6, 2024. After going through the prescribed sequence of discussions with relevant personnel, name changes in accordance with relevant requirements, visits to related enterprises, soliciting opinions, and organizing expert reviews, it took 15 months and finally met the release conditions.

The group standard released by the association this time is far more than just a technical document. It is an industry declaration, declaring the determination of the fastener industry to transform from pursuing "quantity" to pursuing "quality" and "green". It is a set of practical tools that provide enterprises with a roadmap and guarantee to deal with future challenges. It is also a bridge that connects "Made in China" with national strategies and the global market, promoting the industry to move steadily and far along the path of green and sustainable development.
